The ceremony will include a gun salute presented by the American Legion Honor Guard and the laying of the wreath by Clarion American Legion Auxiliary.

Rev. Harold “Jake” Jacobson, of the Grace Lutheran Church, will provide the invocation, and the Clarion Area High School Band and Clarion Community Choir will offer music and song.

The guest speaker will be retired United States Marine Corp. Lieutenant Colonel Dan Smith.

Immediately following the ceremony, presenters will retire to the Toby Bridge for the laying of the wreath on the Clarion River. The river ceremony pays tribute to those who gave their last full measure of devotion while serving their country at sea.

If inclement weather arises, services will be held at the Ross A. McGinnis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2145 at 603 Liberty Street.

The public is invited to a lunch at the Ross A. McGinnis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2145 after the ceremony.
