The Curve (26-21) were led offensively with solo home runs by Jackson Williams and Edwin Espinal as they picked up their second straight win against the SeaWolves (21-25).

Taillon threw 47 pitches in his three innings and allowed one hit and walked one batter. He struck out five of the first seven batters he faced. He was making his first rehab appearance less than three weeks after surgery for testicular cancer.

Tied 2-2 in the eighth, Jin-De Jhang singled to left field off Erie reliever Waldis Joaquin (Loss, 1-2) and a fielding error by Dominic Ficociello allowed Espinal to score from first, putting the Curve ahead, 3-2.

Jared Lakind (Win, 1-0) worked around a pair of baserunners in the eighth to cap his three scoreless innings. Tate Scioneaux (Save, 3) worked around an error and a walk to strand the tying run at third in the ninth.

Williams opened the scoring with a solo homer in the third, his first with the Curve, and Espinal clubbed his solo blast in the fourth, his sixth of the year.

Erie evened the score in the fifth inning with a two-run homer by Gabriel Quintana against Yeudy Garcia, who finished his day with two innings pitched and allowed two runs on two hits and a walk after taking over for Taillon in the fourth.

Espinal went 3-for-4 in the game and score two runs. Elvis Escobar went 3-for-4 with a double.

The Curve wrap up the series on Monday afternoon with right-hander Alex McRae (3-1, 3.53) on the mound. Right-hander Myles Jaye (0-4, 4.30) will be on the hill for the SeaWolves. First pitch is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. at UPMC Park.
