State Police Calls:  Assault at SCI-Forest, Assault in Tionesta, Public Drunkenness

MARIENVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Inmates Assault SCI-Forest Employees

Two known inmates assaulted five staff members at the State Correctional Institution in Jenks Township, Forest County.

The incident occurred at 11:18 a.m., Monday, May 22.

No other information was provided.

Assault in Tionesta

Police say 31-year-old David James Fazenbaker, of Tionesta allegedly assaulted a 47-year-old Tionesta woman at a residence on Vine Street, in Tionesta, Forest County.

Police say around 9:30 p.m., Sunday, May 28, Fazenbaker allegedly grabbed the victim’s arm three times and punched her four times.

Fazenbaker was arrested and transported to Warren County Jail to await an arraignment.

Man Arrested for Public Drunkenness at Campground

State police say Dennis Damian Miller II, 35, of Leechburg, was arrested for public drunkenness at a campground in Heath Township, Jefferson County.

The incident occurred around 8:12 p.m. on Sunday, May 28.
