State Police Calls: Car Hits Deer; Driver Cited in Licking Twp.

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls recently.

Knox Man Cited

Gerald Ferroni, 60, of Knox was cited for driving a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock, no registration or insurance and an illegally transferred license plate June 3 on Canoe Ripple Road in Licking Township.

Car-deer Collision Results in Damage

The driver of a 2008 Nissan Sentra struck a deer that was crossing Interstate 80 Sunday in Richland Township.

The car had moderate damage.

Police did not release the name of the driver.

Car Damaged After Driving Over Metal

The driver of a 2005 Honda CRV drove over a metal object on Interstate 80 in the eastbound lane near mile marker 56 in Beaver Township.

There was moderate damage.

Police did not release the name of the driver.
