The Curve (32-25) issued seven walks in the game, with four of those turning into runs for the Senators (24-34).

Harrisburg scored three runs in the third inning against Altoona starter Yeudy Garcia (Loss, 2-4). Osvaldo Abreu drove an RBI single to open the scoring and Corban Joseph came through with a two-out, two-run single.

The Curve started chipping away in the third with an RBI single by Kevin Kramer to get on the board. They closed the gap to 3-2 with a solo home run by Jerrick Suiter in the top of the fourth, his second of the year.

In the fifth, Garcia issued a walk to Joseph to put a runner on base. After getting a flyout for the second out, Garcia walked the next two batters on eight pitches. He followed with a five-pitch, bases-loaded walk to Isaac Ballou, bringing across a run. Over that stretch, he missed with 12 of 13 pitches, including 11 straight.

He was replaced by Miguel Rosario, who surrendered a two-run double to Abreu to extend the Harrisburg lead to 6-2.

Garcia pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing six earned runs on six hits and a career-high six walks with one strikeout.

Rosario recovered to work 1 1/3 scoreless innings, lowering his season ERA to 0.94.

Tate Scioneaux and Luis Heredia each worked a scoreless inning.

Harrisburg’s Taylor Hill (Win, 2-1) worked 5.2 innings and allowed two runs on six hits working in relief. Washington relief pitcher Joe Blanton made a rehab start for the Senators, tossing a scoreless first inning with two strikeouts before being replaced by Hill.

The Curve begin a four-game home series on Friday night against the Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. Right-hander Alex McRae (4-1, 3.19) will throw for Altoona, opposed by Richmond righty Jordan Johnson (3-3, 2.91). First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Curve return to PNG Field on Friday to begin a new homestand with the Josh Bell “I Gotta Have More Cowbell” bobblehead giveaway, presented by Nuts for You. They will also play a double-header on Saturday at PNG Field against Richmond, with game one beginning at 4 p.m. For tickets and more information, call 877.99.CURVE, visit AltoonaCurve.com or stop by the PNG Field box office.
