SCRUBGRASS TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A one-vehicle accident occurred early Friday morning on Interstate 80 in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.
According to Franklin-based State Police, around 5:50 a.m. on June 9, Christopher Shovestull, 45, of Fairmount City, was driving a 2010 Dodge Caliber on I-80 south of Rockdale Road when he hit a deer that was crossing the road.
Shovestull was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
The crash caused disabling damage to the vehicle; it was removed from the scene by Tom Hovis Towing.
