Clarion Boosters Ask Fans to Come to Main Street at 10:30 A.M. for Baseball Team Send Off

CLARION, Pa. (D9Sports) — There will be a sendoff for the Clarion High School baseball team at 10:30 a.m. Monday on Main Street in Clarion in front of Clarion’s Veteran’s Memorial Park (across from the high school).

The Bobcats are playing Greensburg Central Catholic in the PIAA Class 1A baseball semifinals at 3 p.m. Monday at North Allegheny High School. The team bus will leave the high school at approximately 10:30 a.m. and will travel eastbound on Main Street to South Fifth Avenue.

Therefore, the baseball boosters are asking fans and town people alike to line Main Street on the side of the park starting at 10:25 a.m.

“We ask for only a minutes of your time to wave and cheer and let them know we are proud of boys,” Tracy Craig, a mother of two of the team members said. “Bring a friend, bring a banner of a sign and bring a smile. Just come and support these guys that are so pumped up because they’ve been working so hard.”

Anyone not able to get to the game, can listen to the game right here on ExploreClarion.com and via the ExploreRadio app.
