CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) — The Clarion Township supervisors meeting was brief, but they did address one issue from a resident — stormwater runoff.

According to township secretary Karen Wilson, a Fourth Avenue couple wanted to know if there was any work scheduled to handle stormwater runoff.

The query came in response to recent heavy rains that have fallen in the area recently.

Wilson said there were plans to use Community Development Block Grant money to take care of some of the issues.

“There are plans to do work in the area, but it will take some time because when you use CDBG money, there is quite a bit of engineering that needs to be done first,” Wilson said.

She added she thought the work would be done in the next year or so.

The supervisors will meet again at 7 p.m., Monday, July 10.
