Clarion County Commissioners Proclaim June 17 as Terry Henry Day
Terry Henry, an East Brady native and former East Brady Football coach, is being inducted into the Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Hall of Fame on June 17. Henry earned a special proclamation from Clarion County Commissioners – Ted Tharan, Wayne Brosius, and Ed Heasley – who proclaimed the special day at their Tuesday morning meeting.
Legendary NFL quarterback Jim Kelly will present the award to his former coach at the Harrisburg ceremony.
This week’s induction is the fourth Hall of Fame in four years for Henry, including the Seneca Valley Athletic Hall of Fame, Butler County Sports Hall of Fame, and the Western Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame.
Writer John Enrietto of The Cranberry Eagle offered a look back at Henry’s career. Click here for the full story and how he almost wasn’t the coach of the East Brady Bulldogs.
