Pizza Pub Claims Clarion Little League Title with 14-2 Win over Burns & Burns

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — After winning just two games in the regular season, Pizza Pub completed a fantastic run through the Clarion Little League playoffs with a 14-2, four-inning win over Burns & Burns to claim the league championship Saturday night at Paul A. Weaver Park.

Aiden Quinn and Devon Lauer both hit home runs for the Pub, with Lauer going deep for the second consecutive night.

Pizza Pub needed to beat Burns & Burns in back-to-back nights to clinch the title coming through the loser’s bracket in the double-elimination, two-week tournament.

Alex Garduno got the win on the mound for the Pub.
