PARKER, Pa. — Approximately 1,000 Central Electric Cooperative (CEC) members remain with out power near Tionesta (Forest County) due to storm damage on a Penelec transmission line serving the cooperative’s Starr substation. An additional 525 members in the Pine City area of Clarion County are also without power.

Restoration is not expected to both areas until the morning of June 20th.

Members should report outages by calling 1-800-282-8610. The cooperative thanks members for their patience during restoration efforts.

Remember to stay away from downed power lines and report them to your electric utility.

Central Electric Cooperative, Inc. is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative serving approximately 25,000 members with over 3,000 miles of distribution line in portions of Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Forest, Mercer, and Venango counties.
