Heavy Delays Expected on I-80 This Week As Paving Project Begins

CLARION COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — PennDOT is announcing that work will begin this week on Interstate 80 between Exits 62 and 73 in Clarion and Limestone Townships, Clarion County.

The project includes the milling and paving of the center line and longitudinal joints on I-80 East and West.

Motorists can expect lane closures and 12-foot width restrictions in the project area.

This $3.96 million Interstate improvement project is being constructed by Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc., and is expected to be completed in September.

Remember to slow down and use caution in work zones. Fines are doubled for violations in work zones. Drive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the workers.
