PINEGROVE TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A one-vehicle crash occurred Friday night on State Route 157, in Pinegrove Township, Venango County.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 6:20 p.m. on June 23, 23-year-old Kayla N. Flockerzi, of Somers Point, New Jersey, was traveling west on Route 157 in a 2015 Volkswagen Jet following another vehicle. As the other vehicle started to make a left turn onto Pinegrove School Road, Flockerzi proceeded to pass it on the right.

Police say it was alleged that the other vehicle suddenly returned to the westbound lane of Route 157, which forced Flockerzi to drive off the roadway.

The Volkswagen struck a traffic sign and mailbox before coming to a final rest.

No contact occurred between the Volkswagen and the other vehicle.

The other vehicle left the scene without being identified. It was described as a black car with a Ford sticker in the rear window.

Flockerzi and her passenger were using seat belts and were not injured.

She was charged with a traffic violation.

Pinegrove Township Volunteer Fire Department and Minich’s Towing assisted at the scene.
