Area Teen Earns Eagle Scout Rank

CRANBERRY, Pa. (EYT) — Adam J. Lander, of Cranberry, recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

On Sunday, May 21, Adam was celebrated at his Eagle Scout Court of Honor for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout.

He has been a member of Den 55 and Troop 55 of Ninevah since second grade.

State Senator Scott Hutchinson and State Representative Donna Oberlander were both in attendance and both presented Adam with citations for his accomplishments.

A few of Adam’s favorite memories of scouting are his trips canoeing at Restoule Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada, and hiking the Rocky Mountains at the Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico.

Adam is the son of Russ and Julie Lander. He has a younger sister Becca. He is the grandson of Ken and Nancy Weeter and Joan Lander and the late Russ Lander, Sr.
