Man Jailed After Allegedly Striking Female Victim in Clinton Township

CLINTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Clintonville man is behind bars after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend on Wednesday evening on State Route 208, in Clinton Township.

According to Polk Borough Police Sgt. Alan Heller, his department was called to a domestic dispute between 40-year-old Aaron Kaylor, of Clintonville, and his girlfriend at a business located on Route 208.

Police say Kaylor “struck his girlfriend with his hands.”

She was treated at the scene by members of the Clintonville Fire Department.

Kaylor was arrested and arraigned at 9:30 p.m. on June 28 in District Judge Andrew Fish’s office on the following charges:

– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 1
– Harassment — Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary

Unable to post $25,000.00 cash bail, Kaylor was lodged in the Venango County Jail.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5, in front of Judge Fish.
