Dennis Guthrie, 74, of Stoneboro, passed away July 4, 2017 at Grove City Medical Center.

Dennis was born April 5, 1943 in Homestead, Pittsburgh, he was the son of Charles and Hazel Baysinger Guthrie.

Dennis attended public school in Pittsburgh.  

Dennis married Lucille Van Dyke on July 18, 1961, they celebrated 49 years of marriage before Lucille’s passing on May 29, 2010.
Dennis loved spending time outside  with his animals.  He as a active hunter as well.

Loved ones left to cherish is memory are his children: Tammie Speir (Randy) of Grove City, Linda Breaux (Brian) of Texas, Allen Guthrie of Stoneboro, Barb McFadden of New Castle, Daniel  Guthrie of Slippery Rock and Dennis Guthrie of Grove City.  His sisters Alma Patterson on Pittsburgh and Nellie Nolle  of North  Carolina.  A brother Gerald Guthrie of Pittsburgh.  11 grandchildren and 9 and counting great grand children also survive. 

Dennis is proceeded by his parents, wife, 2 grandsons Cory Speir and John McFadden Jr, a brother Charles Guthrie Jr and a sister Marlene Higenbouthe.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.  The Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, Clintonville is in charge of the arrangements.
