Clarion Woman Seriously Injured in Fifth Avenue Crash

CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Clarion woman suffered suspected serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday on South Fifth Avenue in Clarion Township.

Clarion-based State Police say the crash occurred around 7:56 p.m. on South Fifth Avenue just south of Little Lane.

Brian A. Croll, 48, of Aliquippa, was attempting to turn left into the Smoke for Less parking lot when he failed to see an oncoming vehicle operated by Megan P. Kerr, 42, of Clarion.

Police say the front of Croll’s 2010 Silverado collided with the front of Kerr’s 2004 Chrysler Sebring resulting in disabling damage to both vehicles.

Clarion Hospital EMS transported Kerr to the Clarion Hospital where she was treated for a head injury.

Croll was not injured.

Mark’s Auto towed both vehicles from the scene.

Clarion Fire & Hose Company No. 1 was also dispatched.
