Holy Cow: Police Release Details on Route 36 Crash

ROSE TWP., Jefferson Co., Pa. (EYT) —  State Police in Punxsutawney have released information surrounding a July 4 crash involving a Summerville woman.

Around 10:24 p.m., Kathleen Geer, 47, was traveling on State Route 36 near Stanton Road in Rose Township, Jefferson County, when she collided with a cow that was standing on the roadway.

Geer’s 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier came to a stop about 18 feet south of the crash site.

She was wearing her seatbelt and was not seriously injured.
