Trailing 1-0 going to the bottom of the first, Clarion tied the game on an RBI double by Derek Smail and then took the lead for good on an Aiden Coulson single. An out later, Jesse Siwiecki singled home another run to make it 3-1 before Coulson stole home with two outs to make it 4-1. Singles by Hayden Weber and Mason Gourley finished off the scoring in the inning, as Clarion sent 11 batters to the plate.

Harborcreek got a pair of runs back in the second to make it 6-3, but Clarion tacked on a run in the third when Nathan Frederick had an RBI groundout and then put the game away with three more in the fourth on a three-run home run by Smail.

Smail was 2-for-4 with the double, the home run, two runs scored and four RBIs. Jesse Siwiecki was also 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored and an RBI.
