HAWTHORN, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion County Fair organizers have been encouraged by the attendance so far and are looking forward to a big finish this weekend.

“Wednesday night was phenomenal,” Fair Board Secretary/Treasurer Julie Evans said. “Some of the food vendors ran out, and we had traffic backed up the whole way to M & S Meats, waiting to get in.”
Evans said Friday’s local truck and tractor pull where area residents will compete and Saturday’s rodeo are sure to be big hits.
“Having local people involved in the truck and tractor pull is something new, and we think everyone will really enjoy it. And, the rodeo is a great one, not to be missed,” Evans said.
