State Police Searching for Couple Accused in Jefferson County Retail Theft

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – State police in Punxsutawney are searching for a man and woman accused of stealing merchandise from Walmart.

The incident occurred Thursday around 10:28 a.m. at the Walmart store along Route 119 in Young Township, Jefferson County.

Police said the pair walked out of the front entrance without paying for a Barnet Whitetail Hunter 2 crossbow valued at $357.00. They also may have taken Broadhead arrowheads worth $44.97, according to police.

The male suspect is between 25 and 35 years old. He is approximately 6’2″ tall with a light brown mustache and beard. He was last seen wearing a black hat and a black shirt with unknown white letters and a skull on the front. He has a tattoo that stretches from his right shoulder to the middle of his right bicep.

Police said he fled the store in a white Chevrolet Sedan.

The female suspect is between 40 and 55 years old. She has short brown hair. She was wearing a red shirt with unknown yellow letters, a long sleeve blue sweatshirt, blue jeans, and pink sandals.
