Albert, Ila R (Miller) daughter of the late Frank and Julia Miller of Diamond, PA, was born December 23, 1917 and died July 29, 2017.

Loving wife of the late Edward Albert.

Beloved mother of Janice Nissenbaum of Medford, MA; Dr. Denise Albert of Denali, AK; Dr. Arnold Albert of Dover, NH.

Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Nissenbaum Cole, Liberty, OH; Joshua Nissenbaum, Sydney, Australia; Jonah Nissenbaum, River Ridge, LA.

Great grandmother to Hayden Cole, Gabriel Cole, Elijah Nissenbaum, Juliana Nissenbaum.

Loving sister to the late(s) Edward Miller, Charles Miller, Harvey Miller, Melvin Miller, Twila Miller Welms, Virgil Miller.

During Ila’s long life she served in the Army WACS during WWII, with service in Europe; she was an award winning pastry chef and baker; served as a Commander of the American Legion Post in Belmont, MA; was a long time resident on the Miller family farm in Titusville.

She loved her family, took great pleasure in all things in nature and the creative arts. She will be very much missed.

Services will be held on Wednesday August 3, at 11 am in the Morrison Funeral Home, 110 Petroleum St., Oil City, PA.

The service will be followed by burial with military honors.
