Sheetz One Step Closer to Liquor License After Approval from Clarion Borough

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion Borough Council approved the proposed inter-municipal transfer of a liquor license to Sheetz at its monthly meeting on Tuesday.

Under Pennsylvania Act 141 of 200, the council had to approve the transfer as part of Sheetz’s on-going efforts to sell beer and other malt or brewed beverages at its Clarion store located on East Main Street.

Sheetz will now include a copy of the resolution adopted by Clarion Council in its transfer request for liquor license No. R-16995, which was originally in Madison Township and was won in an auction by Sheetz, Inc. in March with a bid of $70,000.00.
