CLARION, Pa. (D9Sports) — High school football practice around Pennsylvania started Monday with a week of heat acclimation practices.

During heat acclimation, the players can do “walk through” type drills but no contact is allowed. Full-contact practice starts Monday, Aug. 14, with the first scrimmages for teams Aug. 19.
Some teams will have a second scrimmage Aug. 25 or Aug. 26 while other teams will play “Week Zero” regular-season games that week. Teams that don’t play “Week Zero” games will start their seasons Sept. 1-2.

Clarion-Limestone at Saegertown, 7 p.m.
Karns City at Armstrong, 7 p.m.
Imani Christian at Union/A-C Valley, 7 p.m.
Punxsutawney at Penns Valley, 7 p.m.
Port Allegany at Kane (Co-op with East Forest), 7 p.m.
Brockway (Co-op with DCC) at Otto-Eldred, 7 p.m.
DuBois at Clearfield, 7 p.m.
Corry at Oil City, 7 p.m.
Franklin at Brashear (Cupples Stadium, Pittsburgh), 7 p.m.
Sept. 1 (Only games for teams playing their first game of the season are listed)
Clarion (Co-op with North Clarion) at Punxsutawney, 7 p.m.
Keystone at Redbank Valley, 7 p.m.
