Jefferson County Woman Behind Bars After Allegedly Stealing Over $130,000 in Jewelry, Cash

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) — A Brookville woman is behind bars after she allegedly stole more than $130,000.00 in cash, jewelry, and other items from three Brookville residents.

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, 38-year-old Jessica Deen Robinson, of Brookville, is accused of three counts each of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

The arrest was made following an investigation by State Police, Brookville Borough Chief of Police Jason Brown, and Borough Police Officers.

According to police, Robinson allegedly entered 264 Jefferson Street in Brookville and stole jewelry, cash, and other items exceeding $130,000.00 in value.

The victims of the thefts were a known 50-year-old man, a known, 50-year-old woman, and a known, 45-year-old woman — all of Brookville.

Police say the thefts occurred between May 3, 2017, and June 3, 2017.

Robinson was arraigned at 1:29 p.m. on Thursday in District Judge Greg Bazylak’s office.

Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, August 17.

Unable to post $50,000.00 cash bail, she was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.
