Q&A With Madison Craig

D9Sports: What is your favorite sport to participate in?
MC: Volleyball

D9: What is your favorite memory, moment, game from playing high school sports?
MC: My favorite memory was playing against the Forest Fires at the Redbank Tournament.

D9: Why do you play high school sports?
MC: I play high school sports to meet new people, make new friends and make lots of memories. I also love playing games and competing with other teams.

D9: Is there a high school player on your team or another team that you enjoy watching play? If so, why?
MC: I enjoy watching Moniteau play because they are a very good team and they also have class. They seem to be very positive and pick each other up. They aren’t rude or mean in any way but they do play aggressive and it’s fun to have or watch competition.

D9: When not playing sports I would rather (pick one) – Go to work, play video games, shop, hang out with friends, play pickup sports, go the movies
MC: When not playing sports I would rather spend quality time with friends and family.

D9: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
MC: I would go to Hawaii because it’s a beautiful place with so many things that we don’t see around here. It would be very cool to experience what it is like there.

D9: Who has had the most influence on you as a person?
MC: My mom has had the most influence on me as a person because she’s always been here for me and she teaches me everything I need to know. She does everything for me and would never miss anything I’m involved in. She pushes me to be my best and is a good role model for me to look up to.

D9: What do you like most about growing up in your hometown?
MC: I like being able to know most everyone and make friends with more people.

D9: What do you wish you could change about growing up in your hometown?
MC: I wish I did more community service.

D9: What question do you wish I would have asked you? And what is the answer to it?
MC: All the questions you asked were good.

D9: Do you or have you had any siblings or other immediate relatives who have played high school sports?
MC: Yes my mom and dad both played sports and most of my family did too.
