Emergency Crews Respond to Three-Vehicle Crash in Shippenville

SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle accident late Monday afternoon on State Route 208 in Shippenville.

Clarion County 911 says the accident happened around 4:42 p.m. on State Route 208 near Fulton Road.

A Chevy Malibu was attempting to make a left-hand turn off Route 208 and another vehicle, a Jeep Patriot, was stopped behind it when a white Chevy Spark rear-ended the Patriot.

The Patriot’s rear-mounted spare tire was damaged while the white Chevy sustained extensive damage to the hood. The front driver side airbag also deployed.

No injuries were reported.

Shippenville-Elk Township Volunteer Fire Department, Shippenville-Elk Ambulance, and Clarion-based State Police responded to the scene.

The scene was cleared around 6:12 p.m, according to Clarion County 911.

State Police have not yet released specific information on the accident.
