A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ruth J. Chmiel has been planned and scheduled by her family.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 5, 2017, from 10-11 AM in the Atlantic Avenue United Brethren Church in Franklin, where services will be conducted at 11 AM with Reverend Jason Peterson, officiating.

Mrs. Chmiel, 76, a longtime, well-known resident of 225 Maple Street, Rocky Grove, died peacefully at 1:22 AM Saturday, August 19, 2017, in her home with her loving family by her side, following a period of declining health.
