Rader, Cindy L.-photoCindy L. Rader, age 49, died unexpectedly on Friday, September 1, 2017, at her home in Knox, due to natural causes.

Born October 6, 1967, at the Clarion Hospital, she was a daughter of Harry Harnish of Knox and the late Helen Sheesley Harnish.

Cindy was a 1985 graduate of Keystone High School, earned an Associate Degree in Nursing and was a Certified Psychiatric Nurse. She was a CNA tester/proctor for Credentia.

Cindy married Brian J. Rader on May 16, 1992, and he survives.

She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Knox and a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America.

Cindy enjoyed computer games, baking, and car shows. She was a member of the Studebaker Drivers Club.

In addition to her husband and father, Cindy is survived by a daughter, Tamara Rader of Oneonta, New York; one brother, Jeffrey Harnish and his wife, Judy, of Kempner, Texas and two sisters: Brenda Ciancio and her husband, Robert, of Knox, and Patty Hildenbrand and her husband, Wayne, of Pittsburgh. Cindy is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be no public calling hours or services.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be given in the name of Cindy L. Rader to Charitable Deeds and Services, 260 High Point Road, Knox, PA 16232.
