Clarion Man to Be Resentenced on Drug Charges

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — A Clarion man with a lengthy criminal record is scheduled to be resentenced in the Clarion County Court of Common Pleas this month.

According to court documents, resentencing for 29-year-old Kevin Clevon Rivera, currently lodged at SCI Forest, is scheduled for Monday, September 18, with President Judge James G. Arner presiding.

Rivera, originally from South Carolina, pleaded guilty to several drug and credit card theft charges in 2016.

He was sentenced on May 4, 2016, to a minimum of three years, five months to a maximum of nine years, nine months.

Rivera filed a Post Conviction Collateral Relief motion on May 1, 2017. The resentencing will be via audio/visual communication.

Rivera also faced gun and drug charges in 2013 in South Carolina.
