Tip Helps State Police Identify Paint Township Retail Theft Suspect

PAINT TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Mercer County man has been identified in a recent retail theft incident in Paint Township, Clarion County.

On Wednesday, September 6, Clarion-based State Police announced that they were seeking information on the identity of the above suspect.

On Thursday, September 7, state police learned the identity of the man; however, his identity has not been released as of early Friday morning.

Charges are expected to be filed pending further investigation.

Investigators were able to identify the man after receiving an anonymous tip from someone who saw his photo on exploreClarion.com.
