Jason John “Pete” Peterson

Jason John “Pete” Peterson, 42, of 20 East Main Street, Mt. Jewett, died Thursday evening, September 7, 2017, at his home.

Born September 3, 1975, in Kane, he was the son of John A. and Janice L. Swanson Peterson.

On August 20, 2005, in Mt. Jewett, he married Skye M. Johnson, who survives.

“Pete” was a concrete finisher for Local 526 in Pittsburgh, worked in construction and home improvement including D & D Builders in Mt. Jewett, and was a finish carpenter as well. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and played in the dart league in Kane for over 20 years.

He was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Mt. Jewett.

Surviving, in addition to his wife are his mother, Janice Peterson of Mt. Jewett; his children Lilly, Linnea and Jack Peterson, all at home; his brother Jeremy Peterson of Bradford, his sister Jane Keller of Mt. Jewett, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and one niece and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1993 and a cousin Tim “Timmer” Peterson in 1989.

A memorial service will be held in the near future at a date and place to be announced.
