Clarion University’s Financial Planning and Legal Education Programs Recertified

CLARION, Pa. — Clarion University’s personal financial planning program has received renewed registration from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

CFP Board-registered programs are financial planning education programs at the college or university level that offer a professional financial planning curricula approved by CFP Board. Graduates of CFP Board-registered programs satisfy the education coursework requirement for CFP® certification and are eligible to take the CFP® certification examination. Clarion’s financial planning degree has been approved by the CFP Board since 2005.

Clarion University Center for Legal Education received recertification from the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board as an accredited provider of continuing legal education in Pennsylvania.

The Center for Legal Education has been providing quality, affordable continuing legal education to local attorneys for 25 years. More than 2,000 attorneys have attended conferences during that time period with an average of 80 attendees per year. The primary counties served have been Clarion, Jefferson, Venango, Butler, and Mercer.
