Knox Woman Loses Home After Fire Breaks Out in Kitchen

BEAVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a structure fire that occurred early Sunday morning in Beaver Township is under investigation.

According to police, the fire happened around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 10, at 3417 Tippecanoe Road, in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

The Knox Volunteer Fire Chief requested an investigation into the origin and cause of the fire at the above-described location.

The victim’s 15×75′ trailer was destroyed.

The fire was determined to have originated in the kitchen area, but an exact cause could not be determined.

Damage is estimated at $60,000.00.

The victim is Lindsey Sheatz, of Knox.

It is unknown if anyone was injured in the fire.
