SCRUBGRASS TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Two men have been charged with various offenses after an incident early Saturday morning at a Scrubgrass Township truck stop.

According to Franklin-based State Police, 22-year-old Jamison David Winger, of Parker, and 22-year-old Randy Michael Weckerly, of Sligo, were in the restaurant area at the Emlenton Truck Plaza at 2:45 a.m. on Saturday, September 9.

It is alleged that the men verbally harassed staff members. Both were asked to leave several times by employees, but they allegedly continued to harass workers, according to police.

Then, a 70-year-old Parker man approached both men and asked them to leave. Winger allegedly hit him on the left side of his face, and Weckerly allegedly jumped on his back, causing the man to fall, police say.

Winger and Weckerly fled the scene before police arrived.

Both were charged with harassment, disorderly conduct, and simple trespass.

Non-traffic citations were filed in District Court 28-3-04.
