UPDATE: Fire Companies Return to Fight Rekindled House Fire Along Route 322

ROSE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Four area volunteer fire companies had to return to the site of a house fire that rekindled early Thursday along Route 322 in Rose Township.

According to a representative with Jefferson County 911, the call came in at 5:13 a.m. Thursday. Fire companies from Pine Creek, Brookville, Summerville and Corsica responded to the fire. The scene was cleared at 8:31 a.m.

Wednesday afternoon, firefighters from five local companies battled a structure fire at the home.

The initial call came in at 3:07 p.m. for a structure fire at 5216 Route 322, in Rose Township, Jefferson County.

Volunteer fire departments from Pine Creek Township, Brookville, Corsica, Sigel, and Summerville were dispatched to the residence — just west of the Moonlite drive-in theater.

Jefferson County EMS was also dispatched.

The residence sustained significant interior damage.

The scene was cleared at 6:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported.
