Two-Vehicle Crash on Route 322, Clarion Township

CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a two-vehicle accident occurred on Saturday afternoon on Route 322 in Clarion Township.

According to police, 40-year-old William J. Spicer, of Clarion, and 29-year-old Kenneth S. Neiswonger, of Strattanville, were involved in the collision.

Police say around 3:45 p.m. on September 16, Neiswonger was attempting to make a right turn off Route 322, and his 2006 Suzuki XL7 was struck by Spicer’s 2010 Chevrolet Traverse.

Spicer and his passengers — 31-year-old Melissa S. Vasbinder, of Clarion, a two-year-old male, a three-year-old male, and an eight-year-old female — were not injured.

Neiswonger and his passenger — 31-year-old Katrina J. Buzza, of Strattanville — were not injured.

All occupants were using seat belts, and all children were in proper car seats.

Both vehicles had minor damages.

The Chevrolet Traverse was towed from the scene.

Spicer was charged with a traffic violation.
