Kayla DunlapKayla Ann Dunlap, 28, of Callensburg, passed away early Sunday morning, Sept 17, 2017.

Born July 25, 1989, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Frederick “Fred” Dunlap of West Freedom and the late Holly Lynn Larkin Dunlap who passed away June 9, 2017.

Kayla was a 2008 graduate of Keystone High School at Knox and attended Clarion University-Venango Campus becoming a certified nursing assistant.

She had been employed in Clarion County nursing homes.

Kayla was Protestant by faith.

In addition to her father of West Freedom, she is survived by her brother, Kolt (Tina) Dunlap of Callensburg; paternal grandmother, Joyce McCall Dunlap of Callensburg; maternal grandmother, Penny Master Larkin (Will Symonds) of West Monterey; and maternal grandfather, Timothy (Karen) Larkin of Emlenton.

Kayla is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her mother Holly, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, James “Nim” Dunlap.

A private visitation and memorial service were held Wednesday morning at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home in Parker.

Private committal and burial followed at Concord Cemetery in Perry Township, Clarion County.
