The market is located on Main Street next to the Clarion County Courthouse and is open each Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to Noon through October.
“We have a unique and wide variety of produce, dairy, and meat products available,” manager Tara Burns said. “Every single one of our farmers grows or raises their products, and I inspect all of them, so I know they are doing what they say,” Burns said. “Some farmer’s markets have people who go out and buy flats of produce from Walmart and pass it off as things they grew themselves.”
“But not ours!” Burns said. “It’s all homemade.”
Burns also said the market has two meat vendors every week, homemade honey, homemade maple syrup, eggs, produce, and even herbs that people can grow themselves.
“Some of our vendors farm for a living and others are hobby farmers, but they all produce great products, and it’s great for people who care where their food comes from,” Burns said.
