Police Investigating Ax Incident in Warren

WARREN, Pa. (EYT) — Police are investigating an incident involving an ax in Warren.

On August 2, the City of Warren Police were dispatched to 106 North Parker Street for reports of an unknown individual breaking into the complainant’s garage.

When officers arrived on location, they found that an unknown individual had taken a wooden ax with a red blade and struck the top of the victim’s vehicle, breaking the moonroof and leaving many lacerations on the vehicle. The suspect also left behind a black watch and wrote on the hood of the vehicle with a black sharpie, “UR ASS” which can be translated to “Watch Your Ass,” according to police.

The hours that the victim believes this had taken place was from 9:00 p.m. on August 1 and 7:00 a.m. on August 2.

Fingerprints were removed from the vehicle. The ax was taken as evidence, according to police.

Officer Bond, of the City of Warren Police, is asking the public to call 814-723-2700 for information regarding anyone involved in this incident.
