Angry Driver Rams Car in Knox Road Rage Incident

BEAVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police are seeking information on an incident of aggravated assault that happened early Sunday morning.

Police say around 4:07 a.m. on Sunday, September 24, a known victim was driving on Route 322 near Hirsch’s Meats when another vehicle came up behind him and followed closely before passing.

The victim then turned onto Route 338 near Blairs Corners Road. The same vehicle came up behind him, passed him and then slammed on the brakes, forcing the victim to get into the other lane, according to police.

When the victim returned to the right lane, the other vehicle rammed the victim’s vehicle in the driver’s rear quarter panel causing the victim to spin out and crash, police say.

The suspect sped away, and the victim called the state police.

According to police, the victim described the suspect’s vehicle to be an older police vehicle, a white Ford Crown Victoria with a spotlight and possibly a decal on the driver’s side door.

Anyone with information is asked to call PSP Clarion at 814-226-1710.
