Twisted Vine Winery Opens in Clarion Walmart

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Twisted Vine Winery, based in Kane, recently opened a new store in the space formerly occupied by PNC Bank in the Clarion Walmart.

David Plants, of Twisted Vine, said that while the Clarion Walmart is a new location for the winery, they are very familiar with the area.

“We started attending the Clarion Wine Walk from the start of the event years ago, and the winery has always been successful with sales because we get such great support from the people in the area,” said Plants. “We were going to put a store on Main Street, but decided that being in Walmart would be best for us because our friends at Starr Hill Winery, having four Walmart locations, are doing so well with them.”

As with all of the stores operated by Twisted Vine, the store will carry all 30 varieties of wine.

Hours are Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The winery is also expanding to other locations.
