SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Four Local restaurants duked it out in the 2nd annual exploreClarion.com “Battle of the Burgers” Final Four on September 21, 2017, in Shippenville.
Zack’s Shack finished in 1st place, followed by The Kelly Hotel of Marienville; rbg Bar & Grill, of Clarion; and Snug Harbour of Fairmount City.
Zack’s Shack owner Zack Blose cooked the winning burger — “The Barnyard Burger” — and accepted the trophy for the New Bethlehem area restaurant.
The show, hosted by Dustin “Crowbar” Kifer, featured four taste-testers who rated each burger on a 1-10 scale.
The taste-testers were Donnie Niederriter, of Shippenville; Hillary Lefay, of Clarion; Randy Wolbert, of Clarion; and Shaylor Bemis of Clarion.
