doris fink 001Doris Virginia Fink, 100, a resident of Country Acres Personal Care Home in Titusville died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017, after a period of failing health.

Born April 3, 1917, in Apollo, PA., she was the daughter of the late John & Ruth Miller Martin.

Doris attended Apollo High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

She married I. Paul Fink in 1940 and he preceded her in death in 1994.

Doris had worked as a school teacher for many years.

Mrs. Fink had lived in the Oil City Area, Bradford Woods, Dubois and in Colorado for several years.

She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

She enjoyed sewing.

Doris is survived by two children, Aleta Ross of Girard, Lon Fink & his wife Nancy of Tionesta; her grandchildren, Brian Fink & his wife Kristen, Sarah Fink; and great-grandchildren, Aiden and Camden; one sister, Velma Gunneslman of Erie; and extended family, Michelle, Tim , Alyssa and Jacob Carrow, Luke Cardellino, Marjorie Ellenberger and her children Lilly, Hunter, Kristen and Justin.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Gary Fink, a great-grandson Grayson Fink and a brother Leland Martin.

Friends will be received from 1:30 P.M.to 3:30 P.M. in the Reinsel Funeral Home 116 Bissell Ave. Oil City, PA.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 P.M. in the funeral home with Rev. Byron Myers, Pastor of Grace United Methodist Church Presiding.

Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery in Apollo.

A Committal Service will be held on Monday, Oct. 9 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cemetery with Pastor Lee Rupert Presiding.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
