Following a winless season in 2016, Keystone has rebounded to go 3-4 this year through its first seven games thanks in large part to the play of Corey Rapp, who does a bit of everything for the Panthers including running the ball, catching the ball and returning the ball, and quarterback Nate Wingard, who is having a solid season. The Panthers are coming off a home loss to Punxsutawney and host Brookville in the regular-season finale next week.
C-L is 4-4 on the campaign and is going off a big win over Moniteau that broke a 4-game losing streak for the Lions. The KSAC Small School Division champs a year ago travel to Punxsutawney in its regular-season finale next week.
The Lions are led by senior quarterback Brenden Makray, who set the school’s single-season passing yards mark in last week’s win giving him 2,046 yards this year. Kyle Kerle, Riley Hummell, and Colby Himes are favorite targets of Makray’s, and Hummell joins Ayden Wiles in creating a formidable backfield for C-L.
