Commonwealth Online Property Auction for Former Quaker Steak & Lube Warehouse in Mercer Co. Currently Underway

MERCER CO., Pa. — The Pennsylvania departments of General Services and Transportation are encouraging interested individuals to visit the online property auction that is currently underway for the former Quaker Steak & Lube warehouse in Sharon, Mercer County.

The property auction is a racecar memorabilia collectors dream offering a number of car shells including two 1988 Corvette shells and a Monte Carlo shell. Car wheel themed stools and matching table basses, beer tap equipment, storage cabinets, neon signs, tables, chairs, coolers shop equipment, and more are also up for auction.

The property was acquired by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for a roundabout construction project which is the final phase of the multi-year improvement project on the Route 718/760 corridor in Mercer County.

The auction is broken into 24 lots and the property is available for in-person inspection on Monday, October 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. onsite at 130 South Dock Street, Sharon, PA 16146.
