New Harbor Freight Store Opens in Cranberry

CRANBERRY, Pa. (EYT) — Harbor Freight in Cranberry is off and running.

The discount tool and equipment retail store, located in the former Staples Store off Route 322, opened at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

At noon, the parking lot was nearly full, and customers were busy going in and out of the 24,000-square foot store.

“We like starting off like this,” said store manager Bodie Riddle. “Our store is one of the largest Harbor Freights in the state.”

“We all live locally, and we’re here to help everyone with their tool needs.”

Harbor Freight’s grand opening is on Wednesday, November 8. In conjunction with their Veteran’s Day sales, the store will be running several specials.

Harbor Freight began as a small, family-owned business in 1977.

It offers hand tools and generators, air and power tools, shop equipment, automotive tools, welding tools, lawn and garden supplies, and even pet supplies.

Harbor Freight has more than 650 stores, including Altoona and Johnstown.
