UPDATE: Police Locate Vehicle Connected to Homicide Investigation

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) — Police have located a vehicle connected to a homicide investigation.

PSP Franklin was assisting the City of Franklin Police in attempting to locate a Ford Edge, Maroon/Red, PA Registration KHX9391.

The vehicle was located on Monday, October 30, at 5:45 a.m. and will be processed for evidentiary purposes.

Details of the Homicide Case

The City of Franklin Police say around 5:08 p.m. on Friday, October 27, the Polk Borough Fire Department was dispatched to a brush fire on Waterworks Road.

Upon extinguishing the fire, a body was found.

The victim was identified as 25-year-old Tausha Lee Baker, of Franklin (pictured below).

<p>It is believed that the incident started around 2:22 a.m. on Friday in the City of Franklin at a residence in the 1300 block of New Street where Baker was beaten.</p>
<p>Baker’s body was disposed of on Waterworks Road and set on fire in an attempt to hide the crime, according to police.</p>
<p>According to police, 28-year-old <strong>Richard A. Kennedy</strong>, of Vandergrift, and 32-year-old <strong>Amanda L. Cypher</strong>, of Franklin, have been arrested and charged with Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Abuse of a Corpse, and Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence.</p>

Both individuals were arraigned before Judge Fish and remanded to the Venango County Jail.

Bail was denied.
