The Golden Eagles welcome back just one starter from a year ago in senior Cameron Grumley, who last year led the nation in free throw percentage. Grumley averaged 13.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game while starting and playing every game. Also returning is junior guard RJ Laugand as well as a pair of Golden Eagles that did not see the court last year, Brandon Williams and Kyheim Hall.

Clarion went 7-21 a year ago and 4-18 in conference play. The 2017-18 season opens on the road with games at Winston-Salem State and Fayetteville State, with the home opener set for Wednesday, Nov. 15 against Penn State – Greater Allegheny.
