State Police Calls: Tire Spikes Placed in Driveway, Woman Rolls Car

CLARION CO., Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Tire Spikes Left in Driveway

Police say around 6:00 p.m. on October 26, an incident of criminal mischief occurred at a residence on Route 208, in Salem Township.

An unknown perpetrator(s) placed tire spikes in the driveway of a 37-year-old Knox man.

Anyone with information is asked to call PSP-Clarion at 814-226-1710.

Punxsy Woman Rolls Vehicle

Police say 24-year-old Heidi Simpson, of Punxsutawney, was driving a 2015 Dodge Durango east on Route 322 at 8:50 p.m., on Monday, October 9, when she lost control while rounding a left turn. Her vehicle slid on wet grass on the berm and the vehicle rolled onto its roof while spinning 180 degrees before coming to a rest against a fence.

Simpson and a two-year-old male passenger were using proper seat belts and were not injured.

Simpson was charged with a traffic violation.

Clarion Hospital EMS assisted at the scene.
